Con este propósito, he hecho una mezclado consejos que vienen de mi experiencia, con tutoriales que he encotrado en la red y que he elegido de entre los que me han parecido más útiles. Conseguir el material: el ovillo y el ganchillo adecuado - Get materials: yarn and crochet
- Al principio, elige un color medio. Evita el blanco o el negro porque son los que peor se ven cuando se trabajan. Un amarillo fuerte, el verde, el rojo, el naranja, el azul... las posibilidades son muchas, siempre y cuando no sean ni muy claros (amarillo pollito) ni muy oscuros (violeta).
- At the beggining, use a medium colored yarn. Don't use white or black, because it will be difficult to see clearly the stitches you are working on. A yellow, orange, red, blue, or green yarn would be ok. There are many options, as long as you don't use too dark (as deep purple) or too light colors.
- Inicialmente, es mejor una lana que no sea demasiado delgada. Pregunta en la tienda, puedes tomar como referencia lanas para trabajar con una medida de ganchillo de a partir de 2,5 - 3mm en adelante. Normalmente los ovillos te dan dos opciones de medida de agujas /ganchillo. Pregunta en la tienda y explica libremente que es para hacer muñecos, y que necesitas que el punto quede más bien prieto. Verás que ellos te indican la medida adecuada.
- Iniatally use a medium weight yarn instead a light weighted one (baby yarns). Ask in your store, you can take as reference yarns you can work from 2,5 - 3 mm as minimum.
- Lo dicho anteriormente. El ganchillo debe ser el más pequeño de entre los posibles a trabajar con la lana elegida. Es decir, si en las indicaciones del ovillo lees que el rango de ganchillo a usar está entre los 3mm - 3,5mm, no lo dudes, coge el de 3 mm. A vecs, dependiendo de la tensión de la lana (esto es lo prietas que estén las hebras debido a factores como la torsión que le ha aplicado el fabricante) o de tu forma de trabajar, incluso puedes necesitar alguno más pequeño. Pero ésto ya es experiencia que irás adquiriendo.

Aprender la cadeneta: trabajar con las dos manos - Learn how to chain stitch: work with two hands
La cadeneta es el punto más básico del ganchillo. Se suele utilizar en amigurumi como base para "construir" puntos.
Aprender a hacer cadeneta, es aprender a sujetar el hilo con una mano y el ganchillo con la otra de forma adecuada. No digo con mano izquierda y derecha porque éso depende de si eres diestro o zurdo.
Es importante mantener una tensión regular, y que entiendas que para ello no sólo la mano del ganchillo es la que teje, si no que la que sujeta el hilo es igual de importante.Aprender a hacer cadeneta, es aprender a sujetar el hilo con una mano y el ganchillo con la otra de forma adecuada. No digo con mano izquierda y derecha porque éso depende de si eres diestro o zurdo.
También te recomiendo que te fijes en que, al pasar el hilo por el agujero, la punta (gancho) debe mirar hacia ti, sin que se te gire.

Chain stitch is the most basic crochet stitch. It is often used in amigurumi as a base where other stitches are worked on.
Learn to make chain stitch means also learn how to hold yarn in one hand and crhochet in the other. Keep in mind that the hand that holds crochet and the hand that holds the yarn depends on if you are right-handed or left-handed.
Is really important to keep regular tension as far as possible, so all the stitches will have the same size. For this, you should take into account that both hands must work coordinately: the one is holding the yarn as the one is using the crochet hook.
Also take in mind to make the crochet hook tip looks to you in the moment you are passing yarn through a loop.
